Not a day that do not ask me what am I doing here in Brazil. Do not think I'm complaining. I like being here, and are smart enough to realize that many things in Brazil is better than Italy. But there are days that I feel like a fish out of water.
I think I'm the exact opposite of a Brazilian can not stand the heat, hate the Carnival, I do not like the colors "strong" do not eat at all hours (etc. etc.). and, among other things, I always speak very little. In short, are a perfect Italian chat tedious. The Brazilians, however, as I said, they are beautiful, colorful, friendly and very fond of talking about this and that, even with people who do not know. This is a very difficult thing for me to do, almost impossible, because, besides having a very introverted character, I was born and grew up with " not talk to strangers" and " t'intromettere not in the speech of others "(something that my daughter should learn!). But this desire to communicate is a good thing, and I hope over time to become a bit 'more Brazilian now.
